The Westin
Kierland Resort & Spa, built to reflect the area’s rich
history and beauty, will provide you with the ultimate in resort
luxury. Under the "Treasuring the Essence of Arizona"

Registration and Accommodations
All room reservations are being coordinated
by AAAP. Special AAAP hotel room rates are only available to
persons who have first registered for the AAAP 16th
Annual Meeting & Symposium. Do not phone the hotel directly
to make your reservations.
The special AAAP room rate is $199 Single or Double +
Applicable Taxes. Check in time is 3:00 PM. Check out time is
noon. A one night’s deposit is required with your room
reservation.
The deadline for hotel reservations is November 1, 2004. After
that date, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate
available basis. Phone inquiries can be directed to the AAAP
Registration/Housing office at (540) 349-3114. Note that the
Registration Fee deadline for the early discount is November 1.
You
can register for the meeting and make your hotel room reservations
one of two ways.
#1. Online
Registration. You will be able to register for the meeting and
reserve your hotel room online. Credit card payments are required
for online registration and hotel guarantees (Visa and
MasterCard).
OR
#2. Mail or Fax Registration. Print the registration form and mail or fax it,
along with payment, to the address on the form.
Ground Transportation
The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa is located about 30 minutes
from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Taxi fare from
the airport to the hotel is approximately $30.

The hotel business center with FedEx/Kinko’s
is open from 7:00am until 7:00pm Monday through Friday and from
9:00am until 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
Climate
The average high in December is 68°F. The average low is 40°F so
make sure to to dress warmly for the chilly nights.
Internet
Connections
High speed Internet connection is available
in all sleeping rooms. The current charge for this service is
$15.00 per 24 hour period. Wireless internet connection is
available at no charge in the main lobby and back deck of the
hotel.
