Conference Site
The Hotel del Coronado has been a Victorian landmark
on Coronado Island since opening its doors in 1888. The

The conference rate for the AAAP 18th Annual Meeting & Symposium
is $205/night plus tax plus a resort fee of $16/day. To

Conference Schedule
The 18th Annual Meeting & Symposium will begin on
the afternoon of Thursday, November 29, 2007 and adjourn
around noon on Sunday, December 2, 2007. This year’s
Annual Meeting & Symposium will include symposia
on innovative topics such as NIDA’s Clinical Trials
Network (CTN), Addiction & Sleep, Methamphetamine,
and Treatment of Physicians with Substance Use Disorders. The
conference schedule will also include a wide range of
new research presentations, small-group workshops, and
networking opportunities. A Preliminary Program
outlining the conference schedule and symposium speakers
will be available in May.
Pre-Conference & Post-Conference
Events
Buprenorphine training: The conference
will be preceded by an 8-hour training on Buprenorphine
and Office-Based Treatment of Opioid Dependence, to be
held on Wednesday, November 28, 2007. For more

Review Course: AAAP is happy to
announce that a Review Course will be held in conjunction
with the 18th Annual Meeting and Symposium. The
Review Course will be held on Saturday, December 1 and
Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Hotel del Coronado in
