- Fellowship Program Director for the VA / Boston University Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship Program
- Addiction Psychiatrist
Job Responsibilities: FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM DIRECTOR The VABHS/Boston University Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship is an ACGME-accredited PGY-V fellowship dually sponsored by VA and Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM). This fellowship enjoys a rich and intensive clinical curriculum across several academic affiliates and a strong faculty dedicated to clinical research and teaching. Applicants should have at least five years of major administrative and leadership experience in Graduate Medical Education along with strong interpersonal, clinical, and leadership skills. Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry, qualifications for academic appointment at BUSM, a commitment to serving Veterans, strong clinical teaching and supervisory skills, and a desire to work as part of an exceptional interprofessional team. Must be a U.S. Citizen. ADDICTION PSYCHIATRIST This opportunity is in the outpatient Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program (ADTP) located at the Brockton Division of VA BHS. The position includes a mix of direct clinical care, teaching, and supervision of psychiatry residents and fellows conducting addiction-focused care, and an opportunity to contribute to our clinical research mission. Requires Board Certification in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine; full, active and unrestricted license in any state; a commitment to serving Veterans; strong clinical skills, and a desire to work as part of an interprofessional team. Must be a U.S. Citizen. VA Boston is a top-ranked tertiary referral academic medical center dually affiliated with Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM). VA BHS includes three major medical centers and five community-based clinics serving over 65,000 Veterans annually. BHS provides the full spectrum of well-integrated and patient-focused inpatient, residential and specialty outpatient services for Veterans.
