Job Description: The Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine and Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking to fill an immediate opening for a full-time Addiction Psychiatrist as Medical Director for our Addiction Services treatment team in Indianapolis. The Department of Psychiatry has a broad research, clinical, and teaching mission and maintains both a general psychiatry residency and an ACGME-accredited Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship program. IUH has recently opened 3 additional addiction treatment centers within a 50-mile radius of the Academic Health Center as part of its commitment to serve individuals with substance use disorders. Job Responsibilities: Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, advanced practice providers, and behavioral health clinicians who evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with substance use disorders Supervision and teaching of Addiction Psychiatry interns, medical students, residents and fellows.
Required education/experience: Addiction fellowship training, required
Required licenses/certifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
