AAAP is excited to announce a new recognition it has received from the ACCME. AAAP is now an ACCME Innovation Partner!
ACCME Innovation Partners play a key role in advancing a national system for seamless learner data reporting, working alongside ACCME, state licensing boards, and specialty certifying boards.
AAAP recently received Joint Accreditation with Commendation, the highest level of accreditation offered by the collaboration of the ACCME, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Accreditation Program. As an Innovation Partner, AAAP received an additional year of accreditation.
ACCME created the Innovation Partner Program to help accredited providers reduce administrative burdens so their staff and volunteers have more time to support meaningful, lifelong learning. AAAP’s participation in this program helps strengthens the system for everyone!
Innovation Partners are committed to advancing physician learner data reporting by working with ACCME to:
- Implement updated integrations
- Ensure activities are entered into PARS before their start date
- Submit individual physician completions for all applicable activities.
- Update learner permission policies to support learner data conveyance.
- Promote the value of claiming a profile on CME Passport, where physicians can easily track and manage their CME credits.
As an accredited continuing education provider, AAAP plays a key role in improving the knowledge and performance of physician learners and the entire healthcare team.
