American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry CEO Kathryn Cates-Wessel was awarded the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence’s (AATOD) prestigious Friend of the Field Award. This award recognizes extraordinary contributions to the field of opioid treatment by an individual whose work, although not directly related to opioid treatment, has had a significant impact on our field. The award was presented during AATOD’s 2024 Conference in Las Vegas, NV.
