Please note that some AAAP PIPs are also approved for Self-Assessment credit with The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

AAAP develops self-assessment activities to provide timely clinical updates on new developments in the field of Addiction Psychiatry. In some cases, these activities help healthcare teams prepare for re-certification and serve as a tool for board review. For ABPN diplomates, the self-assessment activities provide the necessary credit needed to fulfill their Maintenance of Certification needs.
