BRIGHAM AND WOMEN’S FAULKNER HOSPITAL

The Department of Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is seeking a full time Medical Director for the Clinical Addiction Programs within the Division of Addiction Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). BWFH is home to a full range of specialty addiction treatment programs including a comprehensive outpatient addiction treatment program (outpatient Addiction Recovery Program), a dual diagnosis partial hospital program, and an inpatient addiction consultation service (Addiction Recovery Consult Service). In addition, the Department collaborates closely with the inpatient Addiction Recovery Program, an ASAM Level 4 inpatient withdrawal management unit run by the Department of Medicine. BWFH provides care to a diverse patient population with high medical co-morbidity, and is a major teaching site for the BWH Addiction Medicine Fellows, BWH Psychiatry Residents, and Harvard Medical School students. Academic rank at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements. Previous clinical leadership and ABPN added qualifications in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry are preferred.
